The jewel sandals CATERINA, handmade in Italy by master craftsmen, correspond to the pure expression of Made in Italy. Made of pink satin are composed of three bands of fabric that, gradually narrowing on the front through a bow, allowing you to keep the foot stable. The band that from the bow goes up along the back of the foot, is connected to the one that wraps around the ankle closing through an oval adjustable buckle in rose gold. The touch of light is rendered by topaz crystals, also pink, meticulously inserted along the bands and on the bow. The leather insole adds a romantic note to the shoe. The 12 cm heel, is made from a combination of different woods that allow for both proper stability, but also durability over time. The internal detail of the heel covered with grey stardust, branches out along the entire sole giving further shine to the shoe. The peculiarities of this model make it suitable both for a red carpet evening and a ceremony.
René Caovilla's creations are entirely hand-made, using only the highest quality materials. For this reason, there could be minor divergences between each item. Such features should not be considered as defects but rather elements that distinguish a handicraft and artistic product. The glitter in the soles is subject to wear, especially in the supporting part of the footbed. To keep the product in top condition we strongly suggest following these recommendations:
- always store the shoes away from light and heat, insofar as these conditions could alter the colour and glue resistance
- protect the uppers from humidity and rain
- use the protective bags to avoid contact with abrasive surfaces
